mukyaa!!

This is one of those stupid screams you can hear from some scatterbrained anime characters like Megumi “Nodame“ Noda, and I love them. Well, that was for the title explanation, so, nevermind.

mukyaa.com is a way for me to share my passion for anime character figurines. This means I choose one of my figures, take few pictures and write some lines about it, and of course why I like it. Consequently, as you have noticed it, mukyaa.com is a blog made by an otaku, for otakus.

But! I will try to publish pictures from where I live, sometimes. Not that I want to transform this into a pesonal photo-album, but here, in this nice city of Bayonne (France) and its vicinity, there are a lot of beautiful things I may show you.

About pictures, unless it is mentioned, all photos published on mukyaa.com were taken by me. Feel free to download them if you like, post them anywhere you want, but please do not remove the watermark and do not alter images.
You may only use them for personal non-commercial use, so please do not use my pictures for eBay auctions.

Here an exhaustive list of plugins I installed and I use for mukyaa.com, which is, I recall it, a WordPress blog.

Things that can be seen…

Comvatars v2.4 : This plugin allows to show avatar images on user comments. The Gravatars plugin and the Favatars plugin must be installed and activated to achieve the full functionality, but I don’t use them. So fellow regular visitors can only choose their avatar among a pool of pictures I have choosen for them. I try to frequently add more and more pictures according to latest animes, so don’t hesitate to check this out and change your avatar as often as you wish!

WP-Polls v2.30 : And AJAX poll manager really easy to use. This plugin helps me testing your tastes at the end of all of my articles.

Get Recent Comments v2.0.2 : Display the most recent comments or trackbacks in the sidebar. It can be configured to have your own formatting.

Live Comment Preview v1.9 : Activate to supply users with a live comment preview. Can be useful if like me you like to add some HTML tags in your comments and have a preview of them before posting.

WP AJAX Edit Comments v1.1.5.1 : Give the possibility to fellow readers to edit their own comment(s).

… and hidden other stuff

Akismet v2.1.4 : Checks comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not. It requieres a WordPress.com API key to be used, available after free registration, and seems quite effective.

runPHP v2.2.2 : Allows to put some PHP code into a post or a page. I mainly use this plugin for my figure collection page and the featured feeds page.

StatTraq v1.1 : This plugin keeps track of every hit on your public WordPress site. By public, it means that it does not track admin activities. A pretty nice tool to have an overview of your blog’s traffic.

FeedBurner FeedSmith v2.2 : Since I have registered FeedBurner to manage my blog feeds, I needed this plugin to detect all ways to access WordPress feeds and redirects them to FeedBurner feeds. Don’t know if this is clear, so roughly, this is a plugin you must have if you have a FeedBurner account, so you can track every possible subscriber.
