Which witch wished which wicked wish?
English spooky tongue twister are tricky. Maybe I should try eating a bubble-gum. This to introduce a lovely figurine of Uma, the human witch from the anime Magipoka. Well, the whole title is Renkin 3-kyuu Magical? Pokahn … but each time, I cannot remember the right spelling.
Magipoka is great. A “kawaii“ and “ecchi“ anime, with stupid jokes, whose main character are a clumsy witch, Uma, a sexy flat vampire, Pachira, a gorgeous werewolf, Liru, and a maid cyborg, Aiko. And the best thing is that talentuous seiyuus like Aya Hirano and Hitomi Nabatame give their voice. A real 100% fanservice anime, like I love them.
And here we have Uma, ridding here magical heart-decorated-staff over a crescent moon, and dragging this strange black rabbit that usualy serves her as a hat. She stands on a nice magical-circle-decorated base, wears her unique traditional “mahou shojo“ outfits (we cannot call her a with… at all) and a cute little bag in her back.
My Review
I would have prefer a version of Uma dressed with her black-and-pink cloak, and the bunny on her head, but I like her this way too. The pose is funny, and with this opened mouth she can easily be imagined saying something (stupid, of course). The anime character design is perfectly respected, and that is why I like Max Factory products.
She comes in four parts : the crescent moon base, the staff, the rabbit, and Uma. Two big fixations on the moon : one for the staff, and one for Uma, which has a large hole on the inner of the thigh. Like that, nothing can move!
I have been very surprised (in a good way) by que quality of this figurine. And considering the next SOS-dan figurines, Shenhoa (Black Lagoon), and seeing that Pachira will also be immortalized into a figurine, I must say that Max Factory rocks!
Now I am just hopping a Liru figurine will be released (and Aiko too, to complet the set, but she the one I like the less).

I’ve been meaning to get this one since I have Pachira on order. Looks great in these shots.
Also, your customization of the Tarski theme is excellent.

Thank you!
First I didn’t plan to order Uma, but when I saw Pachira figurine promotion pictures, I ordered (and preordered) both of them.

Such a shame I’ve yet to watch Magical Pokan yet, but none the less good photos. Also added to my blogroll.
