Kuro no Franco

A new model just arrived in my ALTER figure set of dangerous girls with guns. Just with that said, figure addicts have certainly guess today’s article will concern Nitro+ eroge Zoku: Satsuriku no Jango tumbling heroine : Franco Il Nero (or Kuro no Franco).
Another very expected figure for all folks who have already been seduced by first character of a burning trio, the full-fan-service Donne Anonime.

Based on what I have read among comments on dannychoo.com when this figure was introduced, this girl is named after the main character of a famous spagetti western titled “Django”. Django is also the heros name, while Franco Nero is the actor real name. Funny reference, since Nitro+ game seems to be a pastiche/parody of the original work. It is amusing to learn that.
By the way, the only western stories I enjoyed were from the Franco-Belgian comics featuring Lucky Luke, the cowboy known to « shoot faster than his shadow ». I grew up reading his adventures. Ever heard about him in your region?
But well, westerns can become much more interresting with beautiful 2D girls with guns and lovely yet fatal smile ^^

Yeah I confess, the first thing I checked was what is the most visible: that white pantsu. And I am bit sorry to see slight black stains. No big deal however, since it could have been worse, like bigger sculpt marks…

I really like Franco long blue/gray hair. ALTER seems good at making long thin hair locks.

Her black suit with orange lines looks like lava, which I think is awesome. But this is too bad the pose hides most of this damn short suit. But this pose is obviously amazing, so does the damage stone wall serving as a base.

The pistol barrel is also a bit bent, and I do not want to try to center it on more since I thought I would break it. However, there are nice ornamentations graved on it.

Love the lines drawn by the sculpt. Not just a great dynamic pose, but the way all is flowing in harmonious direction is definitely the best element of this figure. Sculptor Tanaka Senu, who already did a great job with Donne Anonime, expressed once again his talent here with Franco. Cannot wait to enjoy his work on Lily now!

My copy has a huge pink paint stain on the top of her left boot. But I assume this is the mass-production risk. Somehow, it is fortunately not visible at first glance. Let us just say it is some blood from her male enemies who died from nose bleeds and have left some on her boot ^^;

The way she is supported by this small piece of plastic seems cheap. The whole tremble when I move it. Maybe I did not drive in enough… but it seems I cannot go any further.

I am fond of what mate D_Blade said about this figure, which sums up very well its spirit I think :

« Enjoy looking at my pantsu for the first and last time… Because you will die now. »

Followed by this cute wink and lovely smile-with-a-fang, it suits the situation perfectly.
The pink heart under her white boots confirm that she might be a nice yet provocative girl, and very dangerous at the same time. Exciting! ^^

Once again ALTER released a high-quality figure, despite some mass-prod-related imperfection I was not used to see anymore, and an unsteady support. Hard to say if this will survive through gravity over time…
But I am not saying that Franco is a failure though. Quite the contrary. She is an excellent figure by her sculpt and paint job. It is just it could have deserve more care such as Donne Anonime. Maybe I was expecting too much, since I really love the design of this striking, ardent and playful ace gunner.
Anyway, with Miss Nobody, those two ladies make an awesome duet, soon completed with Lily.

The paint quality looks superb, you should be able to clean the pink stain using soap water, I cleaned some of my figurines that way :)

I also spot a little mold on her left buttock

and IMO, this figurine pose is a lil bit daring not suitable for public display ^^;

Cool grab. Chose to pass over this series since the figures somehow didn’t work for me. Pretty sweet figure in terms of detail though, the belt, the boots, as well as what I’m assuming are bullets striking the wall? Pity about the mass prod issues though, I hope you’ll be able to fix that to a level you’re comfortable with =)

I’m not really farmiliar with Zoku: Satsuriku no Jango and not really fond of the figures but if it’s Nitro+’s, I’m sure it’s great just like demonbane… ANyway, this is a nice figure, nice buy, but dead after looking at the price…

The pose is nice and it looks like shes riding the wall in my opinion ^^. A bit too much for me with all the pantsu “up in the air” pun intended lol. But she is cute. Sorry to hear about the pink stains though, but like you said it’s a risk we take.

ron~ : thanks for the tip! I will try this. The mold is here, right, but actually not as accentuated as it can be on other copies I saw, like on HeiseiDemocracy. One point on which I was more lucky ^^;

shino : yeap that’s it, bullets striking the wall. This effect could have been better I think, but this isnt what you are looking at first, so…

Belela-san : volume between the legs? well, that is the main attractive part, I guess ^^;

I was able to grab the Donne with the shotgun through Nitro+ webstore, but had to use a proxy service, with extra charges obviously. I wanted that wink on her face! However, since it comes on the normal version of Franco, I did not have to do the same this time :relief: ^^

samejima : Nitro+ characters have always a great design, this is amazing. But recently, I was completely charmed by Ignis and those girls from Satsuriku no Jango – same artist(s) I assume -

valho : lol about the last picture. Indeed, she’s angry because Donne was released first and was in the limelight before her. It is like “Take that! I am the star! People, look at mine, not hers ~_^”

samejima & valho : ALTER’s new lineup is amazing indeed, but more and more expensive as you said. Just look at the maid only available at HobbyStock… the price is damn high for a 1/8 figure :|
The time when 1/8 figures were around 4000å†† is definitely over it seems…

AS : yep a risk, sure, but with that price and from such a famous brand, it is a bit irritating and frustrating.

that looks pretty amazing! I prefer this one the most. The pose is dynamic and actually makes sense, and looks good from any angle! I would have bought one too, but as ron mentioned, a little daring. My wife would not approve.

I really love the detail on her. The gun, the belt buckles, everything is very well done. I’ve never been fond of the white fang thing though, and I still don’t understand it…

Hmm it seems a lot of people got some problem with their Francos! Fortunately the only bad stuff I found on mine were some very slight black marks which makes her booty look kind of dirty lol. I noticed though that the flying strap on her right side with the belt buckle at the end is sagging lower and lower after just a couple of weeks… I don’t know I may have accidentally touched it in some way that make it sag lower, because I’m pretty sure it was sitting a little bit higher before… Funny thing is, the one on her left side is still holding up strong…

Nice pics! Wish I had a Donne Anonime to go with mine, but at least Lily will be coming for sure since she is my favorite :P Hope to have all three in some form in the future.

It’s too bad that this figure didn’t have the face that the special edition online store Nitrodirect version has. That version she has a clear scarf wrapped around her neck and some of her chin, which hides the pointiness of her chin (I like it like that), she has both eyes open and she is smiling with her teeth. She looks very cute like that! Oh yea, her panties are also not a plain white, but striped white/lightblue ^^

radiant : yeah I can understand this figure may need some approval from your spouse ^^;
This white fang thing is a feature more and more used with characters who are a bit roguish, I guess. Even if sometimes it is a bit overrated, I like those characters generally.

rain : Franco looks definitely great with Donne Anonime by her side ^^

Fat Cat Lim : The backgrounds I use are just full colored paper sheets, I bought in some art stores.

The scarf is a nice addition in the Nitro+ version. However, I much more fond of the wink and smile of the common version. I had to resist tot he striped pantsu though ^^;

Strangely, girls arround me (mother, sister, friends…) like this duet a lot. Maybe they all secretly dream they are danger and sexy girls like Franco and Donne Anonime hehe ^^;
