Asuka Langley
I’ve already said I was expecting her at the end of the Rei figure review, and there she is! My dear and fond Asuka Langley, wearing a lovely striped tube top and shorts instead of the traditional plugsuit.
I swear, after that I’ll be done with Evangelion hehe.
According to the description wrote on HobbyLink Japan, this figure was initially released as a resin kit in 2001, and is sculpted by Hiroshi Inagaki. Good to know, since this artist also create the beautiful Yomiko “The Paper” Readman figure (be it said, I’m looking forward its restock) and Arche Klaine figure.
I have to admit that this figure suffer from a lot of strange things…
Except usual scupt artifacts on hair, Asuka’s got a right elbow amazingly sharp-pointed! And the way she keeps her left hand horizontally isn’t natural. Try to do the same, you’ll see hehe.
An average figure, but it will certainly charm Evangelion’s or especially Asuka’s fans, with its originality and attractive price.
And that’s all for the objective part. I’m not disapointed at all. I love the way Asuka looks lost in her thoughts, and I find her more seductive with untied hair. My “Asuka fanboy side” is still there haha.

The Children
This last Evangelion figure complet my EVA pilots trio. Those three figures of first, second and third “Children” are perfect together. I was expecting a good harmony between those Kotobukiya products, and I’ve been completely satisfied. Yeah I know there is also Kaworu, but I’ve voluntarily forgotten him.
Now I just miss a Misato figure to have a full dose of Evangelion ;)
