Shii-chan

Only few days after Mirei-sensei, I received my second Art of Shunya Yamashita figure, a girl that could have been a really intriguing classmate : Shii Arisugawa. But let’s just call her Shii-chan.
So, Shii-chan took the same path as her elder, and about two months after the Japanese release, was available here in France.
Fellow figure addicts may have already seen her at RIUVA or Spare Change Anyone? under every single angle, so then there won’t be anything really new here. But I dare think this is the kind of gorgeous figure of which it is always a pleasure to stare at, and moreover I had a lot of fun taking pictures of Shii-chan’s great assets.

I remember a kind of talk about… uh-huh… knickers with stripes, better known as “striped pantsu”. At that time, I noticed I haven’t this “kind” of figure yet. But now, thanks to Shii-chan, this gap is filled up! Yatta!
Then, what’s better than pictures to celebrate? ^^;

Shii-chan was sculpted by Matsuken (tF21), who also did for Kotobukiya the lovely archer Natalia Lanvaldear from Tales Of The Abyss. I’m not very fond of fair-haired girls with bows, but I love brown haired girls with swords ^^;

Now, her classmate Sera-chan is missing, but I won’t look for her figure since I’m not that seduced by the one who was the first Yamashita’s sculpted work, I think. (don’t hesitate to rectify if I’m wrong)

Aka Ugly and Belela-san have already warned me about Shii-chan’s leaner potential. Therefore, until the end of this summer, she’s back into her box, unfortunately. I’ll try to display her when the air will be cooler. The good thing is that leaves me few more time to find extra place for her hehe.

    So you finally got her ^^ another Shunya cutie but not my style in terms of face. My friend where I got Mirei and the others from my last haul had her too but I didn’t get her cause I wasn’t interested. Once again the body proportions are outstanding and the eyes are from another world, she’s is indeed from Sera-chan’s school but from different classes, why? Well because her scarf is of a different color from Sera but the uniform is the same.

    One thing I like in Shunya type figures is the belly and the legs, the legs are simply irresistible ^^

    ahh another shunya girls, we can never get tired of those. Shii is one of those cute and dangerous girl ^^ though not one I would add to my collection but she does have her appeal. The second shot is superb, HDR i presume coz it looks like one

    She’s a girl I would add to my collection, just have to keep the skirt on for company lol…people are already weirded out the first time they see my collection lol. I would love to have a girl like Shii-chan next to me and a teacher like Mirei-chan, luckily for me I did sit next to a girl as hot as Shii-chan before who was nice but already had a boyfriend lol…always happens.

    Belela-san : That’s true. If I remember well, scarf / ribbon color indicates the year of the students. So, maybe Sera-chan is Shii-chan’s senpai, or the contrary ^^
    And I agree, those legs are so… appetizing! Definitely what I prefer on those two figures.

    valho : No HDR this time. I tried one, but didn’t render what I was expecting for. Not an easy process hehe.
    And it’s indeed the distort diffuse glow filter from photoshop, like Belela-san said. The picture was a bit dark, so I tried some modifications, and this one looked interesting ^^

    AS : Yeah it’s always like that… Life is so cruel hehe.

    School girl, glasses, long sexy legs, twin tails, sword, leaning…damn. Haha :p

    I’ve heard that some people haven’t had any trouble with her though, so i’m sure when the cool weather comes around she will be safe to display. Think of it as an early Christmas present.

    But it sure could have been a great feature.

    But I guess so, in few months I’ll be able to display her and other figures I put back in their boxes without any worries. Don’t know if I’ll wait till Xmas though, that’s far ^^;

    Lovely shots man ^^ Haven’t seen any noticeable leaning as yet on the Shii in display at the shop though on closer inspection of the base, she certainly doesn’t inspire lots of confidence I guess -_-

    Time will fly by soon though, and you’ll soon be able to display her without much worry ^^b There’s always more figures in the meantime to satisfy till the weather cools anyway, and that can only be a good thing ;)

    shinohai : It seems that it really depends on the place/figure. Her pose doesn’t look reliable at all, and she definitely has a tendency to lean, which was confirmed while I “manipulated” her for taking pictures. Well, only time will tell me, but not immediately hehe.

    Adun : Love it too. I have to say I was inspired by aka_ugly similar picture, so much those legs are… yummy~ ^^;

    Hai, gorgeous photos. That dark blue background isolates her very well. Also I like the spotlight effect you created on the low angle shots.
