Mirei-san

What the …? Mirei-san again!? Well, this one is a bit different as this is an alternative color, and the figure is said to be one of those usual limited-for-special-event-edition. Mmmhh not that limited if you ask me, since I saw it in a lot of online stores.
Anyway, even if I already own the common version, I was also quite interrested in this red/dark Mirei-san, much more than the beige/blond other one, which do is limited, for real I think, as I didn’t see much more pictures of this version.
So, if you are not sick yet of Shunya Yamashita’s “3D version” girls, there are few more photos after the jump ^^

Mirei-san

Ok I cheated. The glasses don’t come with the figure. They belong to Shii-chan who generously lent her second pair. And I have to admit they suit Mirei-sensei pretty well.

Like the two other figures of her, this one comes with an additional right arm and hair style. Hair up and pencil in the hand is still my favorite setting, even more with the glasses.

Despite the color changes, another difference is that her right shoe is harder to fix. Maybe it is just me… but this is like trying Cinderella’s glass slipper, and even worse since there is no need to put it wholly. Though these red shoes are very nice and shining.

Oh and by the way, the chair is exactly the same. No various color for seats… poor ordinary objects. I wish I had valho‘s patience to make a little paper origami mac and/or a complet desk like he did for his Mirei-san, but I really suck on plastic arts. I give it a try, but that is hopeless ^^;

Spot the difference

To end with, the obvious parallel picture. It can’t be helped.

Mirei-san

4 mistakes slipped themselves into these two pictures. So, spot the differences! Hehe reminds me those puzzle games I used to play when I was a child. I loved this kind of game ^^

    ah the HK limited edition Mirei, hmmm it does looks pretty nice, much better that the promo pics they show at Play-Asia. Making the table and mac did takes me a while and gave me a few cuts :)

    I never heard of that version till I saw it at figure.fm, Mirei’s very nice all the way but as I see this HK version something bothers me, it might just be my eyes but I find the dark hair Mirei’s hair a bit glossy like it looks like rubber.

    The underwear……… well I like both underwear, I like the black one its some sort of fetish of mine ^^ but I also like the normal (purple almost white) one. If someone asked me which one between the three, brown, blond or black I would choose the brown, personal taste.

    oOOoh~ This is new to me XD
    Never even realised there was a black haired version~
    I quite like it actually. Something about the black and red that appeals to me.

    valho : Yeah, play-asia’s pictures aren’t very honorific, with some weird shiny effects.
    About your diorama, I’m sure you put a lot of effort into its making. That’s why it looked so great o(^^o)(o^^)o

    Belela-san : yeah her hair is a bit too glossy, that’s right. But with natural lighting, it looks much better, with lovelier reflects.
    Black underwear is kindda sexier with Mirei-san ^^;

    Aya Kyunik : Red & black make her looks more evil / fatal maybe. Well, that is the impression I had when I first saw the figure, and wanted it ^^;

    I like this one better than the original, alot sexier~ red and black color combination, I like :D

  • http://animesugoi.animeblogger.net/ AS

    Never knew about this newer version, very sexy. I was never really attracted to girls with their hair up, so I prefer hair down and pen in hand.

  • Haze

    Were the glasses included in the box for the red version ?

  • http://www.mukyaa.com lu-k

    ron~ : yes red/black is a perfect combo ^^

    AS : Hair down looks better to me than the brown one, for that dark haired version.

    Haze : no they belong to Shii-chan, as I already said it above ;)

    I think I prefer the HK version. Red and black is always sexy!
