Fate/Zero
With all those stories concerning Fate Project, I wonder if a anime version of Zero and Hollow Ataraxia will be released one day. I really wish to learn more about what happened before and after Stay Night. But only through animes, so that I would be able again to listing to my favorite seiyuu Kawasumi Ayako voicing Saber! (assuming the casting would not change of course).
Meanwhile, I will be satisfied with two aweome Max Factory figures of Saber and Kiristugu Emiya.
Kiristugu, Saber’s master in Fate/Zero, is Shirou’s foster-father, but also Ilya’s father. Reading a bit of wikipedia content about Fate characters reveals a lot of very intersting stuffs. Too bad all of these hasn’t been developped in the anime version of Stay Night. *sight*
Anyway, I stop for now complaining about that hehe.
Saber and Emiya have such a great style in those black suits. And even if there is almost only one color for clothes, they are rather well detailed. Buttons of the jacket and the shirt, creases, gloves, ties… ervery thing is faultless.
I omited to take picture of their shoes, but they are brown and very shining, as if they have just been polished.
I like the contrast between Saber who is impeccably dressed, and Emiya who looks a bit slovenly, with its tie, well… untied, the shirt’s collar and jacket opened.
Moreover, Saber’s ponytail is so cute!! ^^
Both characters have an interchangeable hand.
Emiya can hold a old-looking gun, easy to place in the corresponding hand thanks to the soft plastic of his fingers. Or he can be set with a cigarette between the index and middle finger.
Saber can either hold her legendary sword, or keep the fist clenched.
I really fell in love for this duet when it first was annonced. That « Men in Black » style is so impressing, and I even prefer Saber dressed like that than her king armor. And considering those are Max Factory figures, I could order them with closed eyes. And now, I am proud to have one more male figure among this harem collection! They are so rare… and even is Emiya is taller/larger than Saber, the fact he is a guy could explain why the figure is 1800 JPY more expensive. Perhaps.
As you can see, I played a bit with shadows, to have some silhouette pictures. I wanted to vary a bit, and I am pretty pleased with the final result. The sky was not too cloudy, and the morning sun light is smooth enough.
