Otaku Mugs

If I had to list anime-related collectibles, the main goodies I have in mind are figures, obviously, but also clothes, artbooks, dakimakuras and mugs.
I do not pretend I am collecting mugs though, but recently, three new ones have been added to my very first « Haruhi-ism » mug.

And now I am more and more looking for other mugs featuring the series I like. However, those items run quickly out of stock, so I guess mugs are quite popular.

So. You may have recognised the classic laughing man, some Noizi Ito Shana and some Vocaloid.
I am thinking of bringing them at work to decorate my office. Very convenient to put pencils, since I always lose them. And well, I also need something for coffee-break ^^;
Anyway, it is a good way to express your otakuness discreetly, isn’t it?

Oh and yes, the absolutely cute nendoroid Miku is now the queen of my collection. She is adorable!

Now the only kind of goodies I miss is the ultimate accessory which allow anyone to reach the highest otaku level : dakimakuras. Should I cross this line? :|

desudesu : they look quite strong in fact, and not very expensive compared to figures ^^;

phamolous : na way! I keep them for me only :p

AS & ron~ : it would be for wall decoration too in fact ^^; I kindda like the Ikkitousen ones. If they release one with Ryofu (and I guess COSPA will, since she appears in Great Guardians), I may cross the line hehe.

Saku : Nice choice! there are a lot of FSN mugs among all those relative goods ^^

Windbell drink water in mugs? well that is original ^^ but indeed, they are a bit too smal for water. I drink a lot if it as well.

Well, the only things I collect are figures & artbooks right now, can't spend in any other otaku stuff at the moment -_-;

I have always wanted to get one of these mugs they are way too small - I drink a lot of water ^^;

If only they have a slightly bigger version...

I like the Shana one the most ^_^. I don't really collect mugs but I am getting any FSN merchandise that I can get.

Lol, you should cross the line if you want to. I know I did when I bought the G Festival Deluxe that came with not only a dakimakura but a oppai mouse pad as well lol. Though I swear I don't use the dakimakura for anything more than a wall decoration ;P. Btw, nice Shana mug xD. I wouldn't mind drinking out of that mug every morning lol.

I wouldn't mind the Shana one myself. Or maybe the laughing man one. The Haruhi-ism one seems too much and I'm not a huge fan of Hatsune Miku...

Lol, the only mugs that I own after I moved out are three christmas mugs. And I still use them...don't you want to share yours with me?^^;

I always wanted to order one, but never did, out of fear that they'll break, or the printing on the mugs would fade over the years (which will really suck, given how expensive they are).

Adun : I was worried too when I ordered my first mug, but actually they are quite well packed. At least those I received from HLJ. Also, I only ordered mugs WITH figures, so I can reduce a lot freight charges.

Rin : I have the the Haruhi-ism since more than one year ^^ This is sure a great mug haha.
I would love to have one with Rin. A friend of mine got one with Saber wearing pajamas and holding a toothbrush. Quite funny ^^

I never considered buying mugs as I always get the fear that they'll break during shipment.
