Oppai

“Oppai 『おっぱい』 is a Japanese word which refers to woman’s breasts, and, generally, to the larger variety”. I think most of readers know this very useful word which can be used in everyday speech, so if you are already familiar with Japanese pop culture don’t pay attention to the text but just focus on those big eyes (if it is not already the case). Though it is always good to go over the basics. Mmmmmmh.

Anyway, just playing with my canon 100mm macro lens and had to find something to zoom on ^^;;;

    Its funny that there are very similar words in Portuguese and Japanese but with completely different meanings, and “oppai” is one of them.

    It’s a nice macro shot with the centre being focused while the rest is with a soft “bokeh”.

    Funny indeed, didn’t know about that, but I guess that can explain why there are such a lot more Brazilians and Portugueses familiar with Japanese than other people. At least that’s what I’ve heard about. And what does oppai mean in your mother language? ^^

    “Oppai” in portuguese is used when we’re talking to our father, like “Ó pai chega aqui” which can be translated to Hey dad come here XD.
