Grendizer

Recognize this silhouette? Of course, this is the most awesome super robot ever : GRENDIZER!
I renounced somehow the Revoltech series from Kaiyodo, being more into Max Factory’s figmas. But I could not resist the super cool Grendizer I was brought up on.

In French he is called Goldorak. Should remind Italian comrades of something too. I don’t get why most of original names are systematically changed when getting French translation treatment. Why do they have to translate or change names?? that makes no sense to me. And even now, we have some deviations regarding characters’ names in popular mangas like One Piece or Fairy Tail. I really hate that.

  • Never heard of Grendizer, only Mazinkaizer and some of its variations, but never of this one. What shutter speed did you use?! Been trying to do some silhouettes but I always need to use photoshop to achieve that "black".
  • This shot was F/3,2 and 1/4096 speed (iso 100). Maybe not the best settings to do so…
I guess the most important is to make sure to have the sun in the back of your subject – her it was on the right, as you can see since few parts are still enlightened. Then it is just a matter of settings.
Oh and the shot was a bit underexposed too.
  • Haaa Goldorak, all my childhood. :) I was in love with Actarus. LoooL
And yes all those name different between versions, i don't like it too ^^
  • Girls were in love with him, boys wanted to be like him ^^
  • Hum... I prefer loli figure :P

    (It was the unnecessary message)

    :D
  • LoL ^^

    - unnecessary reply =p
