Takamachi Nanoha
Megami Magazine devoted to its 100th issue some special pages about this lovely anime girl and her new movie, which was annonced recently and will complete three awesome seasons. So it is a good time to present a new figure of one of most popular, cute, sweet, kind, gentle and beautiful magical girl ever : the great Takamachi Nanoha!
Captain Takamachi Nanoha appears here with her dear intelligent device Raising Heart, dessed with her instructor uniform, that can be seen in last season of Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha : StrikerS. She still have her fellow Barrier Jacket she invokes when it comes to training/fighting, but within Time-Space Administration Bureau buildings, she wears this more formal but sexy uniform. She also left her cute childish short pigtails for longer ones when wearing the Barrier Jacket, or for a very sexy side ponytail when displaying her blue uniform. She not the little girl from the begining anymore. The famous mage is now a beautiful young lady, who has young students under her responsibility.
I really appreciate the special style of GoodSmile’s sculptor Hironori Tokunaga, which is quite easy to notice I guess. And the work done on Pachira, Sakaki Mizuki or the upcoming Hoshii Miki and Lala Satalin Deviluke is/looks just amazing. No exception for this Nanoha’s kit, which benefits from a quite original sitting pose, on top of a stylized base.
Even if she stands well without, there is a little peg on the edge of the base where you can plug in Nanoha’s foot. There is also a little hole on the shoulder to insert Raising Heart… with extrem difficulties though. And as an additional information, it is not made to be put in her hand according to the original illustration, but Raising Heart can be put in Nanoha’s hand. It looks better laying down her shoulder however.
At last, some visible joints between the arms and the body come tarnishing the final result quality.

So? what is the verdict?
Thanks to a lovely pose based on a well know illustration from megami magazine deluxe, this Nanoha figure will sure find some place among fans’ collections.
If your not that fond of her emblematic character, but are looking for “wooohoo” figures, well, this one got an appealing pose and noticeable base, but objectively, there are many more staggering kits coming out now and in the future.
I have alway loved Nanoha, so could not miss this figure. And I really wish Fate would have the same (better?) GSC treatment. In the meanwhile, I have my Figmas to compensate ^^

I like her pose.Its really cute and rather normal.Its refreshing to see that not all anime girls are sculpted in emabrassing poses^^
The Base looks also neat.

I think I prefer Nanoha in combat gear over her uniform. That, and Raging heart in firing mode.
Haven’t seen any adult Fate PVC figures of late, though Alter should be releasing her in twin Zanber form sometime in the future.

I put Raising Heart into her hand when I got her, and I only realise later that there’s a hole on her shoulder for Raising Heart peg. I would love to have a figure of Nanoha in her barrier jacket though, maybe Alter would release one since they show a prototype of Fate in her Shin Sonic Form during WF

Wow, stunning pictures. The base is nice and unique, but there were times when Nanoha fell off when i accidentally touched her.

One of my favorite series, StrickerS, I was really surprised when I saw this figure of Nanoha coming out with this pose because I have the picture on my megami deluxe :P which I purchase almost a year ago. Don’t see any flaws regarding her expression nor sculption, I give 4 and a half stars ^_^

Wow she looks good in that uniform ^^ The pose is a big plus, reflects her nature and is more calm and playful rather then erotic and seducing:) The sculpt looks amazing and the paint quality as well, she also has a cute cheery face^^ very nice figure and lovely photos:D

At first, I wasn’t quite fond of the pose of the figure, but now I’m starting to appreciate it more. I have the Nanoha Figma, which I find a bit disappointing, so I might buy this one, because her looks and colors are quite nice.
Oh, the new lay-out looks nice ‘n fresh. :-)

Blowfish : ahaha emabrassing poses, yeah that’s a good thing, but most of anime girls are not sculpted this way, are they?
gundamjehutykai : Firing mode of Raising Heart is has sure a greater look. Nanoha is more cool with her Barrier Jacket, but to me sexier in this uniform ^^;
