Well, here a figurine I was expecting for more than one mouth. Shippment hazards, I guess.
I never seen Yakitate!! Japan 3rd season, because French fansubs stopped, but I’m glad that the DVD will be released soon in France, since I love this anime, its stupid humour, and all those tips about bread. Can’t wait for it!
Anyway, Tsukino Azusagawa is the cuttest anime girl I ever seen, I like her style a lot, and wish my baker was the same.
It’s hard for me to be objective. I like this figurine a lot. She has a sexy pose, simple but nice details, like lovely peats on her clothes or nail polish.
And as a lot of figurines nowadays, the dress is removable.
This figurine isn’t that impressive, but Tsukino is a very pretty girl, and this figure do honour to her. It is a must have for EVERY Yakitate!! Japan fan!
Photo session note
- Inspired by Valho’s article, I tried to use a tripod design easel to hold some white pieces of paper as a reflector. Well, I’m really satisfiyed with that, but still need to improve my use of it.
- I decorated the scene with a real French baguette, one of those I eat every day, every time. Yes I am found of bread. I wanted to put as well a croissant, but the one I bought was too fatty, and tend to leave a lot of crumbs. So I didn’t “use” it, not to stain my colored background papers and not to get Tsukino dirty. But I ate it, and it was really good ;)

very kawaii figure she went out of stock very quickly to, there’s another one on the way a bikini version. I see that those panties are really well made. A question have you heard about asianalternative.com ? I know that it’s a store in Paris if I’m not mistaken, have you purchased anything from them?

That’s great, especially the shots with her standing over the bread. If only every loaf of bread was delivered by Tsukino. I hope this gets restocked at some point, since I missed out.

Belela-san : That’s right this store (they have 2 shops) is based in Paris. I have never puchased anything from them, and their reputation in French community is shared.
When I want to find figurines I missed on japanese store websites, I use to order them from another French store in Paris called Nautilus (search for “nautilus anime”), but I don’t know if they send elsewhere than France :/

Nice photo session. I’m expecting mine anytime soon, but I ordered her on impulse, I’m not that much enthusiasted with this figure. I liked the manga but didn’t read it until the end and I have watched only one or two episodes of the anime… Azusagawa relly is a cute character, but I like more the way she appears on manga’s volume 4 cover. The only figure available of her in that pose is a trading figure. I purchased the set of tradings, but they’re too small, even smaller than average gashapons, that I resell it… perhaps I’ll do the same with this figure… I’m fond of french bread too! :)

Not bad. I don’t like how the hair has random holes though. Dull base. Sockings aren’t really my thing. Other than that, pretty sexy.

I don’t really like the hair, it just seems a bit too unatural for me. But I love how you added the bread with the figure it’s like she’s saying “Hey big boy, you like my bread, come take a lick” or something like that ^-^.

To Belela-san and Lu-K : yesterday I bougth this figure in the Nautilus store (really cute figure ;) and I know that they’ve already send figure (or gundam, I don’t remember) to Japan for example ! These guys are cool so Belela-san if you’re interested, ask them by e-mail for example…

Thx for the tips Ujuj, actually Sera-chan arrived today from asianalternative and when I saw the state of the box she came I almost had a heart attack and the state of her box was not the best, thankfully she was alright, will upload some shots of her maybe later on today cause it’s really hot out there today.
