Revy Two Hands
“Two Hands”, the queen of bad girls is finally between mines (hands). Revy is IMO the most impressive character from the anime-year 2006. A real super-heroine who bluff every single spectator fond of gunfights. She has sharp retort, and even the devil wouldn’t dance with her. Revy rocks!
One more time, Alter did a good job with this figurine. Nice sclupt, a little bit raw for some part like hair but not that bad. All details requested for Revy are here, from the grip of her custom twin Beretta 92Fs to the laces of her boots, passing by her awesome tattoo.
The cigarette looks huge on pictures, but it is much more realisitic in fact.
Be it said, this figure has an other head. No cigarette, and a gentle smile. I didn’t switched them because I don’t like this other head at all. That’s definitly NOT Revy. Revy’s smile is frightful, that’s why I love this bad girl.
Big surprise, she stands on her own! I was quite sure it would be impossible with that kind of pose… and finally, Revy is very well balanced. That’s just great. Alter is talented for that.
Note about pictures
Yeah I’m glad I could have the deep black background I wanted (after a lot of tests), at last! The clue is distance, that’s undeniable. I just didn’t manage to have as many view as I wanted, since my black paper is a little short. Need to find a larger one. Anyway, thanks super rats and valho for your advices.

nice shot, black is really revy’s color hehe. i agree, this face is more like the revy we know, hell when is she every gentle right :D. i am still a bit undecided on whether to get her or not, my local hobby store didn’t have anymore of her in stock when i went there, so that helps me in delaying the decision haha. i’ll be getting sheng hua, so might just get revy later
Canceled the pre-order of this figure to a couple of months before her release and I don’t feel bad about it, I think she should have a bit more volume in her ass and the face could be a bit better. But the shots are great.
The tattoo stands out really well in these photos especially with the use of a black background. Awesome photos there.
nice shots! love the angles
You made her a lot sexier :D
Great pics, especially the one with the gun pointing to us. Never heard of her , thought it was a transformed Lara Croft when I first saw it.
great photoshoot. she reminds me abit of Jo.
valho : shenhoa’s also in my wishlist, and I pray everyday for a Balalaïka one ;)
Belela-san : yeap I know what you mean, there is the same issue of volume with the Ignis figurine I think (the Alter’s one of course). The face is not perfect, I agree, but that’s fine to me, much better than what they did with School Rumble figurines :o
Adun : thanks! I really wanted this black background for Revy, and I am happy with this result.
ron~ : woho Revy? sexier? that’s a huge compliment you gave me, I’m a confused. Thank you :)
AS : well, like Lara Croft she’s a super-heroine, I mean she’s really “too much” in whatever she does. The comparison stops here, since Revy is a true bad girl ;)
Sector6 : That’s the twin-gunfight-style hehe. Jo isn’t very talkative though, whereas Revy is a bloody bigmouth!
Ah very nice. This is actually the first non commercial photoshoot of her that I saw. You’re with the hair, it doesn’t look to detailed, especially the front part.
I preordered her nonetheles. When did you get her? My store here in Germay has her still marked as “Pre-Order” I hope I’ll get her soon, as this is the figure that started all my madness with anime PVC figures ;) I think she is one of the figures with the best pose I’ve ever seen.
The shadows on Revy in this shoot adds to the mood of the character. I still haven’t seen Black Lagoon, but it’s obvious she’s a serious butt-kicker. Lack of rear-end volume on figures happens a lot. Most of the time it doesn’t matter since, but it does for this figure, since both the face and her rear are visible from the intended viewing angle. I’m surprised that she can stand on her own…sweet.
phamolous : I order my figurines on Hobby Link Japan (HLJ). Can’t wait for them being in stock in french stores. And since there is not figurine shops nearby where I live, I always purchase figurines or anime goodies on Internet, so that’s the same for me to order directly from Japan ;)
super rats : Tanks, that’s the way I wanted to take pictures of Revy, with more shadows than usual :)
There are also some angles that are too rectangular, arround buttocks and legs, something that we can also see on some other Alter’s figurines, like Ignis. But that’s bearable.
Nice figure and great pics as usual. I personally didnt like the character in the anime – I prefer the cute less violent ones ^^;
The photos make me to go and get this figure now :) I have her revoltech one, it’s pretty fun to pose, but not as cool looking as this one.
It would be nice to have a photo showing its original packagin too. I wonder what type of box is made to hold this figure, as her pose is so dynamic.
I’m surprised this PVC figure can stand well too, considering her bending pose.
Oh some awesome pics there~
I was thinking about getting this Revy but for some reason the face doesn’t appeal to me, but everything else is perfect.
I’m also waiting for the day Balalaika (any age) is made into a figure, I’ll get it in a second XD
Danny Choo : Some “dangerous girls” have a lot of charm, in a special point of view.
But hey, don’t tell me that Louise isn’t violent ^^;
Girls with a horse-wipe may be the worst! j/k ;)
jajabinka : Here the only picture I have about the packaging, which is quite normal in fact.
(if you’re wondering why there are three boxes, well, I have friends living nearby who love Black Lagoon too)
Despite the twisted pose, she is very well balanced. I think there’s no need to worry about leaning issue.
Aya Kyunik : Balalaïka is the most impressive character of this serie, IMO. I’ve seen a figurine of her, (don’t remember where, sorry) with the same pose than the 3rd volume manga cover (I guess, maybe the 4th), but there is no commercial informations yet…
Nice photos, as usual ;)
I’ve been loving this figure since I’ve seen the first picture of her ! Can’t wait to see her on my shelves ^^
Great photos! You did a nice job of showing off the details and the dynamic pose. I’m also pleasantly surprised to hear that she stands on her own.
I got my Revy in on Monday, and I personally love the box: the design is the well-done kind of simple (which suits the character and the series, I think). Best of all, the box has windows on all four sides as well as the top. This is perfect for me, because I’m keeping her in the box until I put together some kind of dust-resistant display case for my figures. I almost wish I’d pre-ordered two of this one.
I don’t know what I’ll do with that alternate head. It’s too bad they didn’t make it of a super pissed-off Revy, instead of this pod-Revy head.
there was a figure of Balalaika in the latest WHF pictures, but i am not sure from which site i saw the picture though. looks like i am not the only one interested in getting Balalaika
wow these are really great shots.
I wanted to et her originally, but i was really worried that her pose might cause her to lean. Since you mentioned that its well balanced, I might try to get hold of her soon.
Revy’s gorgeous, I would definitely get this if I had the chance. May I know which store you bought her from? Or online store?
oh, and awesome shots, btw :)
