GSC & Max Fact.
It has been a while since I wanted to immortalize all my figures on a single picture, but the more the collection increase, the more complicated it becomes, and the more lazy I get too ^^;
But lately, I was tempted by Danny Choo’s suggestion. Taking a picture of GoodSmile Company and Max Factory figures “only” sounded much more easier, and well, with a little reward at the end, this is sure motivating and entertaining.
So, I tried to find a way to gather what represents half of my figure collection, and have a kind of impressive picture. Here we go!
Well, not all figures are visible on this one, but that’s the picture I prefere for the “impressive” effect. But you can scroll down to the last photo of this set for a full view.
I would never have imagined how long and exhausting setting all of this could be! Especially because most of the figures were still packed in their respetive box… Took me about 7 hours ^^; (in two days)
As you can imagine, Nendoroids, Figmas and Shuraki girls were the most time-consuming.
Now, thinking that I will have to put the figures in order makes me tired. But well, that was fun.
And to make those efforts profitable, here some additional pictures. At the same time, this allows me to introduce my latest figures, and some that I’ve never displayed here.
The 1:8 scale pvc version of Hastune Miku is really lovely. Too sad her pantsu is all white ^^;
Figma version is ok, and nothing beats nendoroid version’s cuteness ^^
I love Idolm@ster girls, even the Xenoglossia version. Haruka-chan is so gorgeous. Have a look at HappySoda’s review (beware nosebleeds).
And for Miki pictures, you can also visit Ota desho? Ota desu!.
Death Note nendoroids suffers from being part of the first ones released… especially Light and Misa whose plastic support is aweful. Such a pain to prevent them from falling due to their head’s weight. I managed to have Light standing without though… fiiou.
Major Kusanagi and Saber, the most “kakkoi” female anime character ever!
Haruka Suzumiya and Mitsuki Hayase from Kimi ga Nozomu Eien make a great pair, as long as you are into bikini figures ^^ Sexy pose. I am really glad to have figures from this moving anime.
And about Figmas, Hiiragi twins have become my favorite ones…
… but just after Saber ^^ She is still the most well done in my opinion. Rin’s second face is really odd I think. And Yuki in her witch costum is just awesome. Well, Yuki is always awesome, if you ask me.
More Fate/Stay Night with the “old” Saber and Konata/Kagami nendoroids.
The two cuties in the center are Sasami and Misao. Magical girls I guess, since the serie they are from is titled Sasami Maho Shojo Club. No clue about their identity, but their moe potential got me.
Venis and Shinra-sama in the back, from the game/anime Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de (They are my Noble Masters). Love the game’s CG. Shinra is somehow very attractive.
And second version of Miki Hoshii, brown hair, blue outfit with real spangles. Went all over my fingers by handling the figure ^^;
Horde of nendoroids.
And at last, SOS-dan Figmas. Can’t be bored of playing with them ^^
Bellow, as mentioned at the top, the “family” picture. One figure is missing though : the first version of Max Factory Suzumiya Haruhi. Lack of space on this improvised stand, so I only put one.
I also removed the Stellar Spinner version Sumomo-chan and the Primula Nendoroid, since they are not officially GoodSmile products. Too sad since Sumomo is one of my favorite piece ^^;
Cookies to those who give me the exact number of figures on the picture ^^
And that’s all folks!

Truly Impressive!
Id like to snatch away some of those figures at night^^

If I leave them this way, I would be sorry for any thief who would try to grab the ones in the middle… too risky to make everything fall hehe ^^;

Wow dude! That is awesome!Talking about a massive collection! 7 Hours, well I think it’s still a moderate time. Did you re-pack the figures back in the box? or do you now have a mature space problem? :P
Well to let you know, I highly appreciate your photoshoot. For how long are you collecting figures? *looks again and again, just awesome*

that’s a very impressive numbers of GSC/MF figures you have there. I can understand how troublesome and time consuming it is to arrange them for the photoshoot ^_^. I too a snap of my GSC/MF figures to post at Dannychoo.com as well, but my collection is not as vast as yours though xD

110 figures!!! man that is a huge lot. do you buy each and every figure released?
October 11th, 2008 at 5:18 pm
Hirvine : figures are still in that state… not re-packed yet. Lazy lazy… ^^;
Now I’ve been collecting figures for about 2 years. Started in summer 2006.
gordon : there is no figure reward. Just a publication on GSC english website through Danny’s Corner. Or I didn’t read well?
I miss GSC’s Rin and Rider though ^^;
valho : well, I really appreaciate GSC/Max F. products, and that’s why they represent the biggest part of my collection.
6pack : bought each of them indeed.

Lol you have too many, and I spot some I have too with my own reviews. Nice to see them in your collection.

HOLY CRAP…. So much cuteness…. seriously….. 3 Nendo Konota’s and 3 Nendo Kagami’s???
October 11th, 2008 at 6:12 pm
(Wouldn’t let me edit, so I’m posting my guestamate here.)
As for how many… 118? I think I counted the one thats two girls standing back to back as two figures though….

while deep down inside part of me is really jealous, the rest of me is so impressed at this collection you’ve amassed! I know you own tons from your tsuki-board profile but seeing it all together puts my collection to such shame!
October 11th, 2008 at 8:22 pm
There’s no way I could muster a collection this size, where would I put everything XD, this reminds me I need to take another picture of the “invasion army” since it has grown since last time I took it
October 11th, 2008 at 8:55 pm
that just awesome!
must have been a fortune to spend to get so many figurines.
Btw, out of the total number of figurines that you have, what % are we currently seeing?
October 12th, 2008 at 12:56 am

Oh my… The only thing I have to match you is the number of tanks I’ve got for my 1/144 tank collection, but that’s nowhere as impressive as your GSC + MF figure collection. Quite a dedication indeed!
And I am not so experienced with figures in general so I dare not to estimate how much worth of figures you’ve got there… o_o
October 12th, 2008 at 11:41 am
Meimi132 : yeap, 3 nendoroids for each character. The 2 chara-ani versions, plus the comptiq version with rabbit and cat ears.
Dancing Queen : well, there is no reason to be ashamed of your own collection. You have some rare and wonderful pieces, like the Full Metal Panic ones, that make me so envious, really. And as you can see on tsuki-board, there are figure addicts who have much, reall much more figures ^^; In a way, I am glad that I don’t have more, since I could not have been able to take such pictures.
hika : this represents about half of my whole figure collection. You can see the whole list at my tsuki-board profile.
Danny Choo : yatta! thanks :)
Q : you sure have an impressive army of 1/44 panzers ^^ congratz!
October 12th, 2008 at 6:33 pm
speechless…
I don’t know what to say, but just wow… so these are just GSM and max factory? I wonder how the picture will look like if you add all your figures in. . .
October 13th, 2008 at 3:35 am
plenty of GSC and Max Factory there :) very nice collection!
October 13th, 2008 at 8:07 am
Haha, simply amazing lu-k ^^. Your figure collection astounds me. It must have been tough to arrange all of them like that and putting them back to their proper place after the photo shoot. I’m a bit disappointed though, we need closer shots of Aria shichou xD, he is the president after all :P.
October 14th, 2008 at 1:17 am
Now that’s what I call collecting figures! Just amazing! I bought a lot of figures over the past months, but it’s no match for this. ;-) Congratulations for making it to the GSC website with such a beautiful collection !! (And I noticed Sbebiwan also made it!)
October 14th, 2008 at 6:50 am
Amazing !
Lu-K i think there are 108 figures on the picture but could be more ;)
October 14th, 2008 at 11:09 am
This is truly a lot! It only can measure with my trading cards collection… ;)
October 16th, 2008 at 5:09 pm
Whaouuuuuuuuuuuuuu! Impressionant toutes ses figurines les unes à cotés des autres :)
October 17th, 2008 at 8:54 pm
>The two cuties in the center are Sasami and Misao. Magical girls I guess, since the serie they are from is titled Sasami Maho Shojo Club. No clue about their identity, but their moe potential got me.
Sasami here is the Sasami from Tenchi Muyou - that particular series was an over-the-top spinoff magical girl show featuring her as the main chara.
October 30th, 2008 at 6:11 pm
Wow, that’s VERY impressive!
Enter that into AFN! Totally deserves bragging rights!
November 2nd, 2008 at 9:59 pm
Hey lu-k did you use flash on the shoot? Or did you use lights to light up the girls? I tried the same thing but the pictures came almost always dark without flash and with it I didn’t like the result
November 4th, 2008 at 10:59 am
AS : haha yeah sorry for ARIA president ^^;
Sesame er Sasami : haa thanks for the information :)
radiant : oh the AFN’s back again. I may consider enter one of these picture then ^^
Belela-san : no flash, just the two lights I always use. I just put them on each side of the display, and on some cardboard boxes for them to be higher and light the figure from the top.
