Ryofu Housen
It has been about one year now I have start ordering figures directly from Japan, mainly from
And now, 12 months after its first release, I have this figure in my little feverish hands.
I was actually slowed down by this 5-digit-price :
Then time goes by, figures have raveled… and recently, a friend with whome I order my treasures from Japan to save some money from freight charges, told me he wanted to order a figure at 80% discounted price on HLJ. What a surprise when I saw that it was the yellow version of this Ryofu figure! I immediately looked for the white one, and lucky! It was also discounted at the same rate. Obviously, it hasn’t taken me long to decide what to do.

So anyway, that was for the little story.
Objectively, this figure isn’t really exceptional. Very few details due to simple clothes, and her breast looks a bit strange. The bag of what she’s eating is also too big if you ask me. I think I’d regret it if I had bought it at full price. But that’s not the case, and then, I love Ryofu. That’s also the reason why I have a half-naked figure of her, after all. Be it said, I’ll probably take some new pictures of this one, soon ;)
Nevertheless, this Ryofu cold cast figure has a nice hair and face, quite well sculped.
Why do I love Ryofu? Easy. What I prefer with female anime character are green hair (like Asa-senpai, CC …) and pigtails / twintails (like Eri, Primula, Fate, Kagami …). Oops, already talked about it with Pachira, I’m repeating myself… Anyway, when those two criterions are joined together, I’m completely charmed. Added to this a lovely wink, that’s perfect!
I’m really happy to have find this figure for a very good price. This divine and arch look, I’m almost in love with it. There is also an interresting mixing between her stubborn side, represented by the bubble-gum and the winking, and a more serious, mature with this stylish summer white dress.
The round pillar for her to sit on is simple but suits the figure. That’s nicer than an rectangular paving-block in my opinon. The figure is scupted in order to be placed on it, and this way it is easy to sit Ryofu anywhere it is possible, since her feet need some support.
Twintails are removable, and by looking at her from a certain angle, Ryofu can even change her look. Sexy isn’t she? Nevertheless, I prefer her with both of them.
If you haven’t understood it yet, I’m glad to have this figure, and I have to thank my friend JC who has informed me of the promotions. A wonderful figure if you ask me hehe.

Background informations
For those few shots, I went down the river which go through the city I live. There is a quite big port, since the Adour river (that’s how it is called) joins the Atlantic ocean.

Here, there were few fishermen certainly wondering what the hell I was doing. For some pictures I had to lie down on the ground to get the wished angle hehe.
In fact, I had a lack of inspiration for indoor shots, and thought this kind of view would suit the figure.
80% discount? Man thats one hell of a finding even for a cold cast which for me is the best but the most expensive material for figures.

Ryofu is my favorite Ikki girl as well. I couldn’t agree more about green hair and twintails ~ there’s just something alluring about green hair ^^;

Are you getting the Goth Loli Ryofu coming out? It’s one of my most anticipated figures! I just hope they darken her hair for the final product.
Belela-san : yeap it’s hard to believe. Aizu figures of Ryofu and Sonsaku were discounted both at 80% and 60% since they were end of stock. If this page hadn’t been reorganized, I and my friend would never have noticed that.

aka_ugly : even if the goth-loli Ryofu looks awesome (cast-off rulez hehe) I’m not really into this kind of clothes on this character. Ryomou is perfect in goth-loli, but Ryofu… this seems odd to me :/

Haha, fair enough ^^ I’m a sucker for Goth Loli so you can pretty much throw a frilly dress on any anime gal and I’ll be interested.
You chose a great background for this shoot. I never knew Ikki Tousen figures could be so….non-slutty lol. This is a real nice change in that line of anime figures that I like. It’s simplicity and cuteness is what pulls me in. Maybe I might get one myself if I find one with a lower price.
aka_ugly : You reminds me a friend of mine fond of goth-loli hehe ^^ He doesn’t realy like Asuka, but loves the goth-loli version from Kotobukiya.
AS : Yeap, IKKI TOUSEN girl figures with no damaged clothes and/or with less than 50% of their body naked are pretty unusual, but that’s what makes her lovely.
Well, next figures of this serie I’ll receive will be more… traditionnal haha ^^;

Wow great shots. Sitting figures have a great display value. You can put them anywhere and they still look great. Like above your monitor, on a shelf, on your speakers,..I won’t say on your shoulders, though =P

Sector6 : The weather is still ok over here, and the temperature has not gone over 30°C / 90°F yet, but that’s just a question of time for now. So I can do some more outdoor shots ^^
