Did I ever mentioned that I love WitchBlade anime adaptation? If not, then here I go : I ♥ WhichBlade!
First because of Mamiko Noto voicing Masane “Masamune” Amaha, then because of the reason she is actually named “Masamune” and the way her transformation really flatters her curves, and at last, because of the awesome power-up form of the WitchBlade.
And thanks to ALTER figure, the trio of Masane forms is completed.
I am very enthusiast about this kit, so it is hard to be objective. But the most obvious sad thing about this WitchBlade figure is her slender legs which don’t reassure me at all, even if they are said to be made in ABS. Paint job is correct, as expected from ALTER. And the pose may look a bit rigid, it is yet enought for me. And, excepted those details, she is perfect, if you ask me. Love kickass heroines ^^
Classic big eyes, hot rear, sharpened hair, aggressive pose an evil look saying “Hi baby, I’m gonna kick your ass and carve you to make a lovely 3D puzzle”, or something like that. (what? isn’t this look saying you that too? hehe)
And for further pictures of this fantastic figure, go check review made by valho, or the one at Heisei Democracy.

A last family picture, with Orchid Seed WitchBlade, and ALTER Masane Amaha wearing casual clothes. Latest power-up one is definitely my favorite.

Ooooh~
Nice photos of her, love the details of the suit, although I think I like the ass of the normal version suit XD
The hair is also awesome, great figure you got there

It’s good you’re on animenano. It’ll make it easier to know when you’ve updated.:) I like the Masane character design, but I’ve not really liked any of the figures so far, but I hope this full figured lady thing continues for a bit.

I’m hoping for a power-up version with a more dynamic pose since I got the FineScenery one. And because there were so many companies doing the regular WitchBlade, that maybe they’ll do more of this one… it’s much better when you have lots of options to choose from, except if buy all of them xD

Great pics - i love shot 2 ^^
I haven’t seen the anime myself, but am intrigued by the story. Sounds like it’s more than just a mindless action romp.
I think I like her first power up form the best, but I like this figure of her the best. Her hand is kewl lookin xD …as are her other features ^^;

Aya Kyunik : huhu maybe because it looks less dangerous to touch it when she is isn’t powered-up? ^^;
super rats : oh the site is finally registered in animenano? didn’t check it, but I made a request few months ago, as I did at AnimeBlogger Antenna.
I also hope the other girls will be modelised.
Gilgamesh : indeed, a more dynamic pose is needed, especially to go with FineScenary version.
There isn’t as many products as IKKI TOUSEN, but it is starting to be a lot of WitchBlade on the market, so getting all of them could become painful for your budget ^^
If I had to buy another figure from this serie, it would be another girl. Like Reina or Maria.
aka_ugly : there isn’t that much action scenes in fact. And it is also very centered arround the parental relation between Masane and Riko, and also genetic modifications… well, not very fantastic in this domain either, but adds something interresting.
Danny Choo : thanks!
ron~ : I swear they look much more “normal” in this power-up version than the first WitchBlade form ^^
But they are still big…

cool finally got yours :). her slender legs scare me too, they are so thin, well I just hope it holds. Alter rendition really bring out all the curvy part of her, really like it XD

The detail and the pointyness lol, so very pointy. She could probably be considered a dangerous weapon if you hit someone with her lol, though I don’t know why someone would use her like that ;p.

valho : let’s hope so… let’s hope so… ALTER did a great job on some other figures with more Matrix-like poses, so… it should not be necessary to worry about that, but still ^^;
AS : maybe some of those crazy teenagers who love swinging sharpened blades arround could use this WitchBlade as a weapon to attack friends or family ^^;
