Fire in her Eyes
« Back to black » this time, for few pictures of a blazing figure. Still in the mood of Noizi Itou’s style, but now we switch from Peace@Pieces (see last figure pictures) to Shakugan no Shana, and from ALTER to Max Factory.
Yes. I am indeed talking about the latest figure regarding the popular tunsdere Flame Haze, said to be the « Slayer with Flaming Hair and Burning Eyes », better known as Shana.
Finally, a “so Shana” figure, like valho noticed it, with typical pose of her. Even if I have already been tempted by the first Kotobukiya’s version - the one in school uniform, sitting, with a melon-pan in the right hand - I was not that satisfied since this it always reminds me that “dere-dere” side of Shana we see more and more through “anime-design like” illustrations. I definitely prefer her warrior and “tsun-tsun” attitude.
Ok, she may be displaying a little smile, but to me it is more like she is saying « Umu~ See how far you’ve pissed me off? Well, now I am gonna kick your ass. » then smiles. (oups, sorry, the “umu~” is Nagi’s line, but I am so into Hayate no Gotoku those days… ^^”)
Strongly inspired by a well-know illustration (via Moeside), this Shana figure was initially sculpted by Takahiro Hashimoto, who also did an excellent work on Eukanaria (via HappySoda), still for Max Factory. And tt seems like short skirts is an habit hehe.
More over, this so damn short skirt easily draws one’s attention. And I completely rejoin super rats’ opinion when he says « the skirt is so short that it really doesn’t make that much of a difference off or on ». So… let’s just take it off and enjoy this cute thin body. Ummh… sounds really perverse. Oh well, nevermind ^^;
Among EVERY anime female characters, Shana is to me the one who has the most perfect zettai ryouiki - do you remember what it is?
She has strong rivals nevertheless, like the close Louise, or Rin, Fate… but I still give Shana the first place. Got a large preference for black thigh high stockings as you can notice it ^^”
This pose keeps on reminding me of someone else…

black bg really works well on Shana, it was my first choice but decided to go for yellow instead. Nice comparison to Haruhi pose, but I think Shana is more the wiggle the finger pose rather than the pointing one XD

Does the pose reminds of someone else? Am I seeing a ghost behind Shana O.o ?
This figure of Shana is probably the one that resembles her the most, it’s a true copy of Shana herself. I like loli type characters so I was tempted in buying this figure but due to wallet “reservations” I avoided her (Perfect Grade Strike already ordered). Probably one day Max Factory will release her again and then I’ll probably get her.

I need to get this Shana lol, I’m really hoping that the local anime store will supply it T-T. Btw, you’re not perverse, we know all about the skirt, it’s just natural to take it off lol, I know I would to take pictures ;p.

:D Excellent pictures! I always knew Shana was designed by the Haruhi person but I never made the connection that the figures had similar poses until seeing this. All looks great!

I kind of wished I waited for a figure release like this than getting the first ones I saw. Still, I’ll probably pick up one at a later date or when I’m in Japan. A great Shana figure indeed.

Shana’s zettai ryouki and her fluttering skirt makes for some great ’shots’, if you know what I mean. Prefer the skirt on if possible. XD

Getting figure directily while being in Japan is a good thing, but won’t it be bulky for the return?

Aya Kyunik : A “touching fingers” between Haruhi and Shana requieres something to raise Shana. She’s noticeably smaller than Haruhi, which is normal after all.

I liked Shana! She was my 1st 1/8 fig. But I personally prefer a more opaque hair though :D
