“Starlight BREAKER!” shouts Nanoha
While the Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha new season, StrikerS, is coming soon, let us remember about how Nanoha Takamashi was cute in the two previous series, thanks to this Good Smile Company figurine.
My Review
I think this is the most dynamic Nanoha figurine I have seen. That is why I prefered this one to Alter’s or Movic’s version. We can easily imagine her shouting her mighty “Starlight BREAKER!“
Details are well finished, and there isn’t big defects. The face just looks strange at some angles, but that is a common problem for most of the figurines. It is not always simple to switch between anime character to 3D figurines.
The staff is easy to slip into her hands, unlike other figurines which come with spears or these kind of similar accessory. All is needed is to fix the “head“ of Raging Heart and the wings, then display Nanoha.
It is a little bit frustrating that she doesn’t stand on her own. I thought I could have removed the base while I was taking these pictures, but no.
Obviously, there is a nice touch of “fanservice“, with this excessive skirt uprising, but this is a big part of the charm of this figurine!

I agree. This figure is a lot better than Alter’s Nanoha. It’s so much more dynamic and lively. The Alter Nanoha just looks boring to me… I may eventually buy one, just to have it (I have both GSC and Alter Fate figures), but I’m not in any rush. I’m surprised to see so many people have Alter’s and not this one. GSC Nanoha actually looks pretty good next to Alter Fate.

deftoned : Alter’s Nanoha is pretty old (released in May 2006 I think) compared to GSC’s one. That can explain why so many folk have it.
JoSL5 : merci !
