One thing that works rather well for anime and/or game popularity is to mix girls and guns. So does for figures. And ALTER seems to know this and exploit it. Revy from Black Lagoon and Jo from Bakuretsu Tenshi have already had their own moment of glory, and are being joined by Nadie from El Cazador and Donne Anonime, also known as Miss Nobody, from latest Nitro+ ero game Satsuriku no Jango. Franco Il Nero from the same universe will also show up next month, to complete the family.
From Mexico…
A bit decieved by the anime El Cazador de la Bruja. I was expecting much better for a Madlax-like show. A bit too long I guess. Fortunaltely, the sound tracks are wonderful as always with Yuki Kajiura works, and Nadie is easy to appreciate. So, with a jumping-and-firing pose with aswesome hair flow, it was hard not to fall for this figure.
Nadie comes with her white coat which I removed, and is supported by two metal pipes to insert in her feet. Rather stout on the whole.
Here a last picture of her, giving Revy’s precious gun a try.
Nadie figure was sculpted by Takahashi Tsuyoshi, who did some other great works for ALTER, like Revy and Ignis I already reviewed, but also the rather wanted Motoko.

… to San Diego
Have no idea about who designed those characters, but Nitro+ Jingai Makyo and Satsuriku no Jango girls are just … wahooo! I would never have thought that Western inspiration could produce seductive provocative women such as Donne Anonime, the women with no name, and Franco Il Nero. Tanaka Senu, sculptor for both kits, did a great work if you ask me.
This version with a shotgun and a winking was the special edition sold by Nitro+ webstore. There is a nice and complet review at foo-bar-baz. Franco Il Nero will also have a special version available in the same way, but this time I am planning to grab the normal one which has a winking too. Winking is great. Winking is the best! Hurrah for winking!! ^^
But the handgun that comes with the “common” version is so improbable…
Well, I won’t do the same for Franco, since the winking one will be enough. No special weapon which “worth” the buy. And that would not be reasonable (I can’t beleave I am saying this hehe).
Find the differences.
And do not miss super rats’ review of the “handgun-red-pants” version, at HappySoda.

different pantsu!!
Great photos, especially the first one :D
I still don’t have any gun girl figurine ^^;

now that’s a great collection of girls x guns! getting nadie for a friend of mine. besides the red and white pantsu, i prefer the shotgun!

The only girl with guns I have is the Hikaru figure, lol. Oh and I prefer the shotgun.

Nadie is definitely gorgeous, I passed on her cause I thought she was hold onto one peg instead of two so I though that one foot wasn’t hold by a metal another metal rod. If I remember correctly her breasts weren’t so big in the anime XD

nice girls with guns, both Nadie and Donne looks great, though I only bought Nadie. I prefer the special edition of Donne it just looks so much better with the six shooter and the shotgun. I have to find time to take photos of my new figures, been going out for photoshoot almost every weekend that I don’t have time for my girls ^^
@Belela~you are right, it’s smaller in the anime ^^, guess they decide to enlarge it

*drools*
Guns with chicks….I mean, Chicks with guns, CHICKS WITH GUNS!
Great photos again, I do like the details they’ve put into the Nitroplus girls, I love winks :3
Only girl I got with guns is Hikaru and a really crap Erica Fontaine of Sakura Taisen 3, unless you count the Mecha Musume…in which case I’ve lost count XD

Guns + chics = best equation
I’m eager to see El Cazador even though I know it drags on too long in parts sort of like Noir, sort of like Madlax. I have no idea why I’m looking forward it really since I didn’t care too much for Madlax once it started getting otherworldly — the soundtrack wasn’t my favorite Kajiura soundtrack. I did like Noir though. That’s the power of girls with guns though, I’m too tempted to see it to avoid it.
The Nadie figure is good though.

Honestly, I prefer the Special Edition - the “pepper gun” (I think that’s what it was called >_>) looks kinda crappy compared to the shotgun.

Girls with guns, another fascination amongst otaku lol. They should make cosplay cafe of girls with guns and see how many otaku come, especially if the girls wore something like what’s above ;p.

Sweet collection of girls with guns! ^^ Still waiting for Nadie to arrive for me though I’m actually more excited by the other stuff thats shipping with her ^^;
Watched El Cazador for a bit before I decided to shelve it until it’s completed so I could just watch the whole thing through in one sitting =D But the OST for the anime is really awesome even from the few eps that I watched. I did like that it was Shizuka Itou who voiced Nadie though xD

LOL at the poll choices haha. Good stuff…I chose Revy >.>
nice pics…think I’ll eventually pick up Donne and Nadie sometime.. I’ve gone back and forth about them so many times for so long now lol. I’ve got Franco in the works though so I think maybe she’ll need some companions lol

I love your main photo! It’s as good as the album cover or any dvd/magazine/cd/. . the works! Beautiful~

ron~ : right! good eye! (mmhh well that was quite easy huhuhu)
Still no figure with gun, but that should not last long? should it? ^^”
rain : yeap, there are starting to be a lot of dangerous girls in there!
Adun : well, that’s also another ALTER figure haha.
Didn’t include her into this group, since she is a bit more… “kawaii” ^^
Belela-san : do you think so? maybe it’s just that in the anime she often wears large clothes so we can’t really know her true 3-sizes ^^;
valho : hehe I saw that you spend more time taking non-anime-figure pictures ;)
But that’s great too! I read regularly your other blog.
Aya Kyunik : can mecha musume be count as a “girl with guns”? hahaha well, hard question ^^”
super rats : even if I knew next episode would not be as great as I wanted it to be, I kept on watching El Cazador till the end. The power of girls and guns as you said ^^
Zeroblade : a peper gun? funcky name hehe.
AS : haha cosplay cafe with girls dressed like Donne Anonime… I’d spend all my free time in!! for sure!
shinohai : other stuff mhh? looking foward to see that so hehe.
Shizuka Itou is sooo awesome! But I prefer her voicing Eika (Sky Girls) and overall Carmel-san (Shakugan no Shana) ^^
sueno : hehe of course, you can’t let Franco alone ^^
dice : thanks *blush*
