Dirty Friday

A funny thing taht I’ve notice in my office is that folk use to be well dressed at the beginning of the week, with nice shirt, clean pants - not pantsu! pants, or trousers… I hope they have clean pantsu every days ^^; - because people from other companies usualy visit us on Tuesday/Wednesday.
Whereas on Friday, they take more liberties, with t-shirts, flip-flops etc…

So! A chance for me to put on my fellow otaku clothes and exhibit my likings otherwhere than in my friend circle ^^

Anime T-Shirts

Though, there are some that I don’t want take the risk to put them on at office. Generally, I take the laughing man, Haruhi or the SOS-dan, but I still keep Saber and Balalaika for very special occasions. Especially this last one, since it can very easily generate big misunderstandings.

Fashion is something really complicated…

my company use to be that way, formal from monday to thursday, so yeah clean pants, nicely iron shirts :) and casual on friday but now we get to wear casual everyday ^^ so jeans and t-shirt for the whole week haha

Nice T-Shirts ^_^. Where did you buy them ? Import or local store ?

I might be one of those few that doesn’t have a single piece of anime clothing :P

I have two anime shirts if I recall correctly. But they’re so darn old, I don’t wear them anymore at all^^ Luckily, I can wear whatever I want at my company.

But yeah, you’re right. Fashion and Otakus often don’t fit together^^

The only T-shirt I have even remotely close is one with a decepticon print -_- We sell t-shirts, but I’m too cheap to buy em :p But maybe I should start investing in them though, since I can wear those everyday and I’m starting to find I’m wearing the same stuff mostly to work XD~

I have an Evangelion shirt with the NERV logo on it. One of my friends pointed out that to people who haven’t seen anime it just looks like a random band shirt, so you can go incognito among normal people. I don’t wear t-shirts to work unless it’s really hot (our A/C unit is weak). I do carry my laptop in a Samurai Champloo bag.

valho & David : It’s not that I can’t wear what I want. There is no rule about that. But it’s just convenience, and to make a good impression since we receive a lot of people from other companies in our premises.

Mushiro : import only. I order them from HLJ or HobbySearch.

Belela-san : well, that quite the normal behaviour after all ^^

shinohai : you even sell anime t-shirts? Haha your shop is heaven (or maybe hell) ^^

super rats : I have one shirt like this on preorder, since there have been a restock for Evangelion clothes (Rebuild movie effect hehe). Black with a red NERV logo.

Love that Balalaika t-shirt. ^^ I have just one old anime t-shirt, Nittle Grasper gang from Gravitation. XD

I don´t wear t-shirts, but I use Death Note handbag.

I have a hollow shirt that I will wear on Halloween and I have a shirt that says OTAKU on it lol. I haven’t worn them in a while so it sits in my closet waiting to be used. We otaku are not meant to have “fashion” lol, for all the fashionable clothes money goes to figures, anime, manga, games, etc ^^.

Ah hah!
The Balalaika one is the same one I got at Comiket 70.
Other ones are Cha- I mean Quattro with red star behind him with words “Revolutionist Return” and a Hokuto no Ken one with Rei with words along the lines of “The first is as graceful like a waterfowl” XD

I wear my anime t-shirts but they’re usually under other pieces of clothing ^^;
the only time I’d prolly wear the shorts exposed is in summer~

My work is rather casual since we are not located in the city. Although we do have shirts with the company logo that we wear, we don’t have to wear them everyday. I have an AnimeNano shirt that I wear sometimes to work or just any casual clothes if my work shirt is in the wash. I plan to have a Moe Moe Rabu shirt for me to wear!
