New Year’s Gift
Happy (belated… orz) new year everyone!!
Usually, the few weeks between the end/beginning of the year, guys from public services like firemen, road sweepers, postmen… go round the district, offering people calendars for any amont od money. Depend on once goodness ^^;
A way to thank those men and women who work hard for well done public services. Does it work like this in your region?
Anyway, all those calendars have inspired me…

I must thank JC, my fellow figure addict who materialized my crazy thoughts into this nice drawing for me! Don’t hesitate to visit his blog with many anime related stuff.
Maybe I should talk about this to my postman next time he will deliver me a package. Anime based calendar would be much better to me than puppies and kittens ^^;
And Actually, I did not have to pay taxes for this calendar, but I guess my reaction would have been the same if there was one haha.
Oh and for a full review of the ARIA 2008 Desktop Calendar, Adun did a very good one at Moe Moe Rabu some weeks ago.

Happy New Year, does this mean more posts will be coming soon? ^^ Awesome grab you’ve got there, no better way to start the new year than to be able to know your dates correctly ^^
We don’t have people going around offering calendars over here or it could be that trapped in my own little world, I never noticed ^^; Would love to grab an anime calendar but those things always sell out so quickly. T_T

Nice comics strip and funny too, the only people here giving out free calendars are those company that wants to promote their products, but it’s free though. That’s a nice Aria calendar.

I kinda identify myself like the comic (I see Need Schultz in hobby link japan page ^^), only that I don’t make many purchases but when I order from amazon uk and from hobby link japan at the same time I go to the post office to pick the merchandise and I go: crap the stuff from amazon arrived first.
Then few days later: woohoo! finally my order from hlj arrived, BANZAI! LOL

Anime calendars sure become quickly sold out. I was lucky to grab this one, but missed those with Haruhi T_T
valho : oh promotional calendars? that must be some lame little ones ^^
Belela-san : hehe well, that’s just how I spend time on my computer : playing some anime related games (some may have recognised a battle screen from Nitro Royale), browsing figure webstores (yeah that’s Needa on HLJ indeed) and watching animes (Minami-ke here).
And yes, I also always go “banzai!” when receiveing a package from HLJ ^^
